It's soft and shaggy on the outside but made of sturdy wood​,​ standing on two stable wavy "legs" that make it rock back and forth and cleverly designed to reduce the risk of children tipping over. Looks lovely in any nursery or playroom but particularly those with a neutral decor. Due to its high quality​,​ it can be passed down to both younger siblings and friends. We've had it for 4 years since my daughter was 1 and both my daughter and her younger brother have loved it​,​ but have outgrown it now . It's lived in a smoke and pet free home and has minimal signs of wear and tear​,​ but his coat may have become a bit shaggier over the years.
